Two soldiers in Austria at the end of World War Two meet not far away from the battlefield. Both have deserted. Although they speak different languages, they share a brief moment of understanding. But too soon they are torn from hiding back into the harsh reality. And both must make decisions that speak against their experiences and for humanity.
